Sanmina-SCI has been named 2006 Electronics Manufacturing Services Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan. The award acknowledges Sanmina-SCI’s successful restructuring efforts, technology leadership, market diversification, quality manufacturing and commitment to its customers – all significant attributes that enable global companies like Sanmina-SCI to be competitive.

Sanmina-SCI Earns “Breakthrough” Supplier Award from Royal Philips Electronics
On March 21, 2006, Sanmina-SCI Chairman and CEO, Jure Sola, proudly accepted the “Breakthrough” Supplier Award from Royal Philips Electronics. The award was presented during Philips’ Supply Management Leadership Meeting in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, attended by Philips’ top 100 supply management staff. Receiving this award is significant to Sanmina-SCI as it recognizes the Company’s unwavering commitment to strive for excellence and the performance of its employees around the world.

Sanmina-SCI Receives Supplier of the Year Award from Lam Research
Sanmina-SCI’s Industrial and Semiconductor Systems Division received the Supplier of the Year Award for the category of “Extended Factory” from Lam Research Corporation, a major supplier of wafer fabrication equipment and services to the world’s semiconductor industry. The award recognizes 100% on-time delivery, plus quality, flexibility, cost and support excellence.

“Sanmina-SCI met or exceeded our expectations in every category with 100 percent delivery and 0.04 defects per unit. I know how much effort is spent to deliver these results, and I am confident Sanmina-SCI will continue to drive improvements and remain one of our top suppliers,” said Paul Charrette, Lam Research’s Managing Director of Supply Chain.

Sanmina-SCI Honored by the Santa Clara Valley Chapter
Sanmina-SCI was honored by the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross with the International Humanitarian Award for the company's humanitarian response to the tsunami relief effort. Sanmina-SCI was one of six companies in the Santa Clara community honored with this award.
